Without the generosity of our local businesses, churches, and organizations, the Cardington Community Food Pantry would not be able to fulfill its mission of serving our neighbors in need. So THANK YOU to those that help provide monetary donations, time, and food for our pantry.
The Adult Discipleship Sunday School Class, at the Cardington Church of the Nazarene, saved money in 2021 with their weekly Sunday School tithes to enable them to make a donation to the Cardington Food Pantry. The Treasurer, Jane (Carpenter) Wireman, used this money to visit a local store to purchase items that many of our Morrow County families are unable to get through the normal food pantry distributions. Once purchases were loaded in the car, Jane was able to gain assistance in carrying in all the packages with Stan Harper, one of the Sunday School class members. Many thanks goes out to all the members of the Sunday School Class and a "special thanks" to both Jane and Stan for having a servant's heart in obtaining and arranging these gifts for others.
