A Special Message during these Challenging Times:
Due to the pandemic and to keep all involved safe, the Cardington Community Food Pantry has changed pantry procedures from shopping in the pantry to making available pre-boxed or bagged food items. Registration will be completed outside and boxes/bags will be loaded into vehicles or given to those who walk-in. Please remain in your vehicle or on stand on the sidewalk staying 6 feet apart and please wear a mask. To accomodate this new process and make registration quick and easy, please make a reservation prior to your pantry or produce market visit.
Per the instructions and guidelines from the US Surgeon General and the Ohio Department of Health, the Pantry is limiting workers to only 10 or less. Healthy and younger volunteers are needed during Wednesday pantry hours. Volunteers are also needed to unload delivery truck and prepack boxes on Tuesday mornings as well. If you would like to volunteer, please email cardingtonfp@yahoo.com. Any donation is greatly appreciated…$1.00 can purchase 10 pounds of food from the Mid Ohio Food Bank. You can give through the Cardington First United Methodist Church online giving (simply click on the option of Food Pantry for a one-time or recurring donation).
